Creating product images for selling online

When you sell online - whether in your own store or on a marketplace such as eBay - the images of your products are crucial to making sales. But creating quality product images has always been a difficult and potentially expensive task for smaller businesses.

Recent improvements in technology have made it easier for businesses to create their own product imagery, using only equipment they already or own or can easily acquire. And software and generative AI now make the task of creating the full range of image types easier than ever.

This workshop outlines how to take basic images of products using basic equipment, and how to then use those with software and generative AI to make a range of images suitable for selling products. Demonstrations will be given of all tools and techniques used.

David James Ross is an ecommerce consultant with more than 30 years training experience and a former lecturer within a photography degree programme.

To be eligible to attend this workshop, you should be currently running an established business based in the Leicester City Council area.
